Alright, Windows 8 beta is already two days old unless you are in a cave — in that case you may not be reading this post too.
You can download it off MSDN or Technet or even the public facing MS downloads page. The most exicting part for me is PowerShell 3.0 beta which is a part of both consumer and server downloads of Windows 8. There is also a WMF 3.0 beta download available for down level operating systems here: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=28998
You can see a list of to PowerShell cmdlets included in Windows Server 8 beta here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh801904.aspx
With Windows 8, I am more interested in managing / automating Microsoft Hyper-V with Windows PowerShell and hence, I will be focusing more on the Hyper-V cmdlets. So, in the coming days, you will see a bunch of blog posts explaining how to use Hyper-V cmdlets in Windows Server 8 to automate the virtual infrastructure.
